Color Tips:

  • Check that contrast is above 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. (See WebAIM checker for help.)

  • Don't use color alone to convey meaning (perhaps use words or shapes in addition to color).

E.g. This is fine because even if someone is colorblind and cannot tell the difference between red and green, the person will know that the first answer is wrong because of the X shape and that the second answer is correct because of the checkmark shape.
