Try these library resources with your Nook Simple Touch.

• EBSCO eBooks: Use desktop computer. Search and download eBook on computer, then open file in Adobe Digital Editions. Connect your Nook to the computer and copy the file the Nook in the directory tree. 
• Sciverse: Works, but text is VERY small. Use desktop computer. Search and download PDF on computer; connect your Nook and copy to your device in the directory tree.
• Springer: Use a desktop computer. Search and download file onto computer; connect your Nook and copy files to your device in the directory tree.

Open and Public Library Resources

OpenLibrary: Use desktop computer. Search for PDF or ePub formats (you will need Adobe Digital Editions for ePub versions.) Dowload PDF and transfer the file to the device in the directory tree.

Project Gutenberg: Use desktop computer. Search and download ePub file, and transfer the file to your Nook in the directory tree.

OverDrive eBooks (print, not audio): Use desktop computer. Search and download ePub file. Transfer the file to the device using Adobe Digital Editions. (Remember: you will need a library card from that library!)
