CQ Researcher consists of an annual compilation of weekly issues that cover one topic of current or emerging interest. Each issue is covered objectively and explained clearly. Charts, graphs, chronologies and annotated bibliographies area available for each article. Additionally, every CQ article includes these features which may be hard to find elsewhere:
To get to any of our databases, you must first go the the ESCC Library homepage. From there, you will need to click on the "Online Databases" link. You'll be redirected to the A-Z Databases LibGuide. |
Scroll down to / or click "C" and select CQ Researcher. |
If you are on campus, you should immediately be taken to the basic search screen of the database.
If you are off campus, you will be taken to a log-in screen where you will be prompted to enter your MyESCC username and password.
If you have any problems accessing the databases, ask a library staff member for help.
Click the "Cite Now" button located at the top of the page.
The citation will open in a new window. The citation will open in APA style by default, if you are using MLA make sire that you have selected MLA before you copy and paste the citation.
If you find a resource you think you might want to use for an assignment, you can email it to yourself. Just click the email button at the top of the page.
Enter your email as the sender and recipient. Now you'll have this article when you're working on your essay later.
