Google Drive: Sharing your Files

200 people can share a doc., file, or folder.

50 people at the same time can edit or view a doc, spreadsheet, presentation, or drawing. More than 50 can view but not edit.

Choose "public" visibility or share the doc or file with a mailing list not individuals.

Within a Google document, spreadsheet, presentation, or drawing you can share it by locating this link on the right side of the screen:

Clicking on the Share link lets you choose how to share your work:

You can copy and paste the link (see small box above) or you can add email addresses (see red arrow).

Levels of sharing are shown below with the broadest access at the top of the list to the most restricted at the bottom:

Within each level you can choose Can view or Can comment or Can edit except for the Private setting.
